As with all language teaching programs in the world, the use of e-learning methods in teaching Turkish as a foreign language is
increasing day by day. E-learning is defined as instruction delivered on a digital device such as a computer or mobile device that
is intended to suppport learning(Clark and Mayer, 2011: 8). The basic question of this study is to determine whether individuals
who learn Turkish as a foreign language, have the necessary readiness in order to take advantage of the digital environment in
which Turkish is taught. Moreover, to reveal whether the level of readiness varies according to age, gender and education areas
are the sub-problems of the study. In this study, screening model is used as a quantitative research method. Screening model is
an approach that aims to describe the past or currently existing as a state(Karasar, 1999)The results of the study reveals that the
students learning Turkish as a foreign language have a significant readiness on e-learning process therewithal the results put
forth that this readiness may vary according to some factors
