Psoriasis is an inflammatory skin disease affecting 2-3% of the world wide population. The etiopathogenesis of the disease has not been exactly understood yet. Women and men are equally affected from psoriasis cases. One hundred forty-two male and one hundred twenty-one female with psoriasis patients were included in this study. The mean age of the male patients was 42.5 (min-max: 1-81) and the value was 37.9 (min-max: 2-82) for the female patients. The mean number of psoriasis cases in the spring was significantly higher than the value in the summer (p=0.044).
