Abstract

Background Cigarette smoking has been shown to temporarily alter cerebral flow velocity and vasomotor reactivity, so the anti of this study was to assess the acute effects of smoking a single cigarette on the common carotid artery (CCA) hemodynamics in healthy nonsmokers.
