Abstract

Purpose - In this study, an attempt is made to show the linkage between the oil additive and journal bearing the running conditions such as temperature, load, speed, etc. in effecting lubricating. it is well known that one of the roles of additives is to form protective layer to reduce friction coefficient in lubricated contacts.
