Today, almost all sectors are experiencing serious changes thanks to the rapidly developing technology. Especially the very fast technological developments in the information sector also manifests itself in manufacturing companies. We see that Digital Transformation applications, which are developing rapidly all over the world, are now being used in manufacturing lines. Autonomous robots, IoT, big data, system integration, cybersecurity and augmented reality (AR) applications, which are accepted as the main components of Industry 4.0, are important factors in the application of advanced production techniques in manufacturing companies. With the help of digital transformation and Industry 4.0 applications, advanced manufacturing techniques have been started to be applied with the help of these components. Continuous production lines with flexible production need to be fully and error-free configured with both industrial automation and control systems and software algorithms and applied in the production area. Managing the life cycle of the product in the time it takes until the product starts to manufacture and reaches the end user provides great advantages to the enterprises. It is seen that there is a significant increase in the productivity of the enterprises implementing the product lifecycle management. Implementing and managing product lifecycle management in production lines designed specifically using RFID technologies facilitates industrial software algorithms. This article examines industry 4.0 components applied in advanced manufacturing processes and discusses a real life cycle application.
