Abstract

In the literature there are few reports about vacuum phenomenon in the ankle joint. They refer osteoarthritic and traumatic lesions. However the first case concomitant with osteochondral lesion of the talus is presented herein. This case report presents computed tomography scans of the ankle joint speculating that osteochondral lesion at the talus is the most likely cause of the vacuum phenomenon.
