© 2018 International Journal of Renewable Energy Research.In this study a spreadsheet tool with visual graphs is presented. The spreadsheet tool uses the AERODAS model developed by Spera (NASA Technical Report, NASA/CR-2008-215434) to predict airfoil pre-stall and post-stall characteristics that is needed as an input for a Blade Element Momentum theory simulation of a wind turbine blade. The spreadsheet tool uses simple up and down buttons to adjust some parameters needed for the AERODAS model with the help of visual graphs. With the presented spreadsheet tool predicting the airfoil polar characteristics in the pre-stall and post-stall regimes using AERODAS model becomes very easy and efficient. The spreadsheet tool is freely available for the scientific community to download. The usage and the efficiency of the presented spreadsheet tool is presented for various applications.
