Abstract

Background and Purpose: Daily albuminuria (dAU) is of great importance in the prognosis and follow up of diabetic patients. Low molecular weight (LMW) proteins serum cystatin C (sCysC), Serum beta(2)-microglobulin (sBMg), scrum retinol binding globulin (sRBG) have recently been proposed as indicators of glomerular filtration rate (GFR). This study was designed to reveal how these LMW proteins change with dAU in type 2 diabetic patients.
