Born in 1989 in Istanbul. He graduated from Galatasaray High School and Galatasaray University, Department of Sociology in 2013. He worked as research assistant at Istanbul Bilgi University. He defended his M.A. thesis in sociology at Boğaziçi University in 2017 (Title: "The Language of Experience: A Social Analysis of the Second New Movement"). He defended his PhD thesis in sociology at İstanbul Medeniyet University in 2022 (Title: "Transformation of Professions: Doctors and Lawyers"). He worked as the editor of Fayrap (literary magazine) between 2015-2019. He has two poetry books (Loss of Hegira 2015; All Rivers Are Ours 2020), and a criticism-theory book (Apocalypse of Meaning: Essays on Modern Turkish Poetry 2017). He translated and edited Ezra Pound’s poetry in Turkish (Lustra 2021; Hugh Selwyn Mauberley 2021; Early Poems 2022). He translated the books of Antonio Negri and Bernard Stiegler and several articles of Pierre Bourdieu from French. His sociological researches focus on the health and legal professions, intellectuals, football and literature. He is a congress member of Galatasaray Sports Club. He is also member of International Sociological Association and RC 52 Sociology of Professional Groups.
